Ezekiel 29:21
““In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth among them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.””
What does Ezekiel 29:21 mean?
God is promising restoration and a voice to his people after a time of silence and shame. The "horn" is an ancient image of strength and power, so this is saying Israel will recover dignity and become strong again. The promise to "open your mouth" means God will give them words to speak, authority to be heard, and the ability to testify about what he has done. When these things happen, it won't be ambiguous or coincidental, the people will recognize it clearly as God's doing, not luck or human effort alone. It's a tender promise that after hardship, God won't leave his people voiceless or powerless, but will restore both their strength and their witness.
