Ezekiel 24:27
“In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you shall speak, and be no more mute. So you will be a sign to them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.””
What does Ezekiel 24:27 mean?
When Jerusalem falls to siege, the prophet Ezekiel loses the ability to speak as a sign of God's judgment on the city. This verse promises that after the destruction occurs, his voice will return, and his silence breaking will itself become a powerful message to survivors. God is saying that once people witness the fulfillment of what Ezekiel predicted, they'll understand he was truly speaking God's word all along.
