“Your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, will return to their former estate; and Samaria and her daughters will return to their former estate; and you and your daughters will return to your former estate.”
What does Ezekiel 16:55 mean?
God is speaking here to Jerusalem through the prophet Ezekiel, and He's offering something surprising: restoration after judgment. Earlier in this chapter, Ezekiel compares Jerusalem to Sodom and Samaria, cities known for their wickedness, and says Jerusalem has become even worse.
