Ezekiel 11:3

What does Ezekiel 11:3 mean?
The people Ezekiel is addressing have grown complacent in Jerusalem, believing they're safe and protected like meat secure inside a cooking pot. They're dismissing any talk of judgment or need for change, insisting that disaster isn't coming soon enough to worry about rebuilding their spiritual lives or their city. Their confidence is misplaced, though, because God is about to show them that the "cauldron" they trust in will actually become the very instrument of their judgment, not their protection. This is a hard word about what happens when we mistake comfort for security and ignore warnings meant to call us back to what matters.
