“Yahweh said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.”
What does Exodus 9:13 mean?
God is asking Moses to step directly into a confrontation with the most powerful ruler in Egypt, calling him to deliver a clear, non-negotiable message: release the Hebrew people so they can worship freely. This moment comes after several plagues have already struck Egypt, yet Pharaoh keeps refusing to let the people go.
