Exodus 8:12
“Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried to Yahweh concerning the frogs which he had brought on Pharaoh.”
What does Exodus 8:12 mean?
When the plague of frogs overwhelmed Egypt, Moses didn't complain or blame God, but instead he prayed. He went directly to the God who had sent the plague in the first place and asked Him to remove it. This tells us something important: even when difficult things happen as part of God's plan, we're invited to bring our concerns to Him honestly and ask for relief. What's striking here is Moses' immediate response to a crisis. Rather than panicking or trying to fix things himself, he turned to prayer as his first action. That's an encouragement for us too, especially in moments when circumstances feel overwhelming or out of our control.
