Exodus 6:13
“Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a command to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.”
What does Exodus 6:13 mean?
God is giving Moses and Aaron a clear mission: lead the Israelites out of Egypt. This comes after Moses has already expressed doubt about whether Pharaoh will listen, so God is reinforcing both the call and its scope. The command goes two directions, in a sense—toward the people Israel (telling them what will happen) and toward Pharaoh (telling him what must occur). What matters most is that God himself is authorizing this massive act of liberation, not leaving it to Moses and Aaron to figure out on their own. They're being sent with divine backing to do something impossible by human standards alone.
