Exodus 4:8
““It will happen, if they will not believe you or listen to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.”
What does Exodus 4:8 mean?
God is telling Moses that if the people doubt the first miracle he performs (turning his staff into a snake), a second sign will convince them. Sometimes one act of faith isn't enough to move our hearts, and God understands that. He doesn't get frustrated with our skepticism but instead meets us where we are, offering additional evidence of his presence and power. This speaks to God's patience with human doubt and his willingness to show up again and again until we're ready to trust him.
