What does Exodus 36:7 mean?
The Israelites had brought so many materials for building the tabernacle that the craftsmen actually had more than enough, with material left over. After Moses had called for donations of gold, silver, bronze, fine fabrics, and other supplies, the people gave so generously that the workers eventually had to ask people to stop bringing things. It's a beautiful picture of a community unified around a meaningful purpose, each person contributing what they could. This abundance wasn't a problem to solve but a sign of shared commitment and God's provision working through the people's willing hearts.
