What does Exodus 36:5 mean?

The builders working on the tabernacle came to Moses with an unusual problem: the people had donated so generously that they now had more materials than they could possibly use. After months of slavery where everything was taken from them, the Israelites had given freely and abundantly toward creating a sacred space for worship. Moses had to actually tell the people to stop bringing gifts, which reveals something beautiful about human nature when we're moved by gratitude and purpose. Sometimes our abundance comes not from having endless resources, but from the willing hearts of a community that wants to give toward something meaningful together.
