What does Exodus 30:15 mean?
When Israel's people were called to contribute to the community's worship space, God set the same amount for everyone, regardless of wealth. This wasn't about fairness in the modern sense, but about dignity and inclusion: it meant that a poor person's gift held exactly the same spiritual weight as a wealthy person's. Everyone's soul mattered equally before God, and everyone's contribution mattered equally to the community.
