What does Exodus 28:36 mean?

The high priest in ancient Israel wore a golden plate on his forehead as part of his holy garments, engraved with words declaring complete devotion to God. This wasn't just decoration, it was a visible statement that everything he did in serving God's people came from a heart set apart for God's purposes. The phrase "Holy to Yahweh" meant he belonged entirely to God and carried that identity into every sacred duty he performed. For us today, it's a reminder that being set apart for God isn't about special clothing or status, but about letting our lives reflect that we belong to Him in whatever work we do.
