What does Exodus 15:4 mean?

After leading the Israelites out of Egypt, God parted the Red Sea so they could cross safely on dry ground. When Pharaoh's army pursued them into that same sea, the waters collapsed back in place, drowning the soldiers and destroying their chariots. This verse celebrates that moment of deliverance, when an overwhelming military force was suddenly powerless against God's protection of His people. It's a reminder that whatever threatens us, no earthly power ultimately stands against God's care for those He loves.
