What does Exodus 15:21 mean?
Miriam, Moses' sister, leads the women of Israel in a spontaneous song of celebration right after God has delivered them from Pharaoh's army by parting the Red Sea. Her words echo what Moses and the men had just sung, but her voice represents something powerful: the joy and freedom of those who have been enslaved finally breaking into praise.
