What does Exodus 10:9 mean?
When Moses responds to Pharaoh's demand that only the men leave Egypt to worship, he insists that everyone must go, including children and elderly people, along with their animals. This wasn't defiance for its own sake, but a statement about what genuine worship requires: the participation of the whole community, not just a select group. The feast Moses mentions was meant to honor God with their entire lives and families intact.
