Esther 4:17
“So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.”
What does Esther 4:17 mean?
Mordecai carries out Esther's request without hesitation, even though she's asking him to help her approach the king in a way that could cost her life. This moment shows the trust between them, but also something deeper: sometimes the people we love ask us to do hard things, and we do them anyway because we believe in what they're trying to accomplish. Mordecai's obedience isn't blind following, it's solidarity with someone facing an impossible situation. In the midst of fear and uncertainty, he chooses to support her plan to save their people.
