Ephesians 6:8

What does Ephesians 6:8 mean?
Paul is reminding his readers that God notices and rewards every good action we take, no matter our circumstances. Whether you're in a position of freedom and comfort or facing real constraints and hardship, the good you do matters eternally. The verse speaks directly to slaves in his original audience, assuring them that their faithful work counts for something beyond what their earthly masters see, but it applies just as much to us today when we're serving in situations that feel thankless or invisible. What matters isn't whether the world recognizes your kindness, hard work, or integrity, but that God does, and He doesn't forget.
