Ephesians 4:13
“until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;”
What does Ephesians 4:13 mean?
Paul is describing the ultimate goal of spiritual growth: becoming mature followers of Jesus, unified together in understanding who he is and what he's done for us. Rather than staying divided or stuck in confusion, we're meant to grow up together, learning more deeply about Christ and becoming more like him over time. This maturity isn't something we achieve alone, but something we reach as a community, supporting and strengthening each other. It's a hopeful picture of what God wants to develop in us, not through perfection but through genuine growth in faith and knowledge.
