Ephesians 3:9
“and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ;”
What does Ephesians 3:9 mean?
Paul is describing his calling to help everyone understand God's long-hidden plan, now revealed through Jesus. For centuries, God's intention to bring salvation to all people (both Jews and non-Jews) remained mysterious, tucked away in God's mind alone. Now that Jesus has come, this secret is out in the open, and Paul sees his role as helping people grasp what God has been doing all along. There's something beautiful here about mystery being solved. If you've ever felt like you didn't understand God's purpose or why He allows certain things, this verse reminds us that God has always had a coherent plan, even when we couldn't see it. The invitation is to stop feeling confused or excluded and to see yourself as part of something God designed before time began.
