What does Ephesians 3:8 mean?
Paul calls himself "the very least of all saints" here, and he's being sincere. He had persecuted Christians before meeting Jesus, and that weight never left him. Yet he also received an extraordinary calling: to bring the good news of Jesus to people outside the Jewish tradition, people who had no claim to God's ancient promises. The phrase "unsearchable riches" captures something important—the depth of what Jesus offers can't be fully mapped out or exhausted. No matter how much we understand about grace, forgiveness, hope, and transformation through Christ, there's always more. Paul's humility about himself mixed with his boldness about Christ's limitlessness is an honest picture of faith: recognizing our own smallness while trusting in something genuinely vast and inexhaustible.
