Ecclesiastes 5:19
“Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.”
What does Ecclesiastes 5:19 mean?
When life brings you resources, health, and work that feels meaningful, the Preacher says that's something to recognize as a gift rather than something you've purely earned through your own efforts. Being able to enjoy what you have, to eat well, to rest, and to find satisfaction in your daily work—these aren't things to feel guilty about or to take for granted.
