What does Daniel 5:14 mean?
King Nebuchadnezzar is speaking to Daniel here, acknowledging a reputation that has preceded him. The king recognizes something genuinely different about Daniel—a quality of wisdom and insight that seems to come from beyond himself, from the divine. This isn't flattery meant to manipulate, but rather an honest observation that Daniel carries something others around him don't possess.
