Colossians 2:6
“As therefore you received Christ Jesus, the Lord, walk in him,”
What does Colossians 2:6 mean?
Paul reminds the Colossians (and us) that the way we *begin* our faith is the way we should *continue* it. Just as you first received Jesus with trust, openness, and surrender, keep walking forward in that same posture of reliance on him. It's easy to start with simple faith and then switch into striving mode, thinking we need to earn God's favor or figure everything out ourselves. Paul says no, keep it real, keep it humble, keep depending on him the way you did from the start. That consistent, trusting walk is what holds us steady through confusion, doubt, and the ordinary challenges of following Jesus.
