What does Acts 9:13 mean?

Ananias is expressing honest fear when God asks him to visit Saul, who has been terrorizing Christians. His reputation for hunting down believers and dragging them to prison has spread widely, so this request sounds like a death sentence. Rather than pretending he's not scared, Ananias tells God plainly what he knows and what he's worried about, which makes his obedience later all the more meaningful. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is acknowledge our genuine fear before we do the hard thing anyway.
