What does Acts 7:3 mean?
God called Abraham to leave everything familiar, without even being told where he was going. This required an extraordinary kind of trust, because Abraham had to say yes to a journey into complete uncertainty. What made this call meaningful wasn't a detailed map or a guaranteed outcome, but the relationship itself, the simple fact that God was asking him to follow. Many of us know what it's like to face a significant change without all the answers: a job shift, a move, a relationship ending, a new direction we're called toward. This moment in Abraham's story reminds us that faith often means moving forward with incomplete information, and that sometimes the point isn't arriving at a destination we can see ahead of time, but rather learning to trust the one who's guiding us.
