What does Acts 6:4 mean?

The apostles faced a practical problem: their community was growing, and complaints arose that some widows weren't being cared for equally. Rather than let themselves get pulled away into full-time administration, they chose to delegate the food distribution to trustworthy people while they stayed focused on their core calling: prayer and teaching God's word. This speaks to something many of us wrestle with. There are always urgent tasks competing for our attention, but this passage reminds us that some things shouldn't be sacrificed, no matter how reasonable the distractions seem. The apostles understood that their foundation was spending time with God and sharing his message, and everything else flowed from that commitment.
