What does Acts 5:22 mean?

The Jewish authorities had arrested Peter and the apostles for preaching about Jesus, but an angel had freed them during the night. When guards went to retrieve the prisoners the next morning, the cells were empty, leaving the officials baffled and embarrassed. This moment becomes a turning point where the authorities realize they're dealing with something beyond their control, and it sets up the apostles' bold decision to continue speaking publicly despite the danger. The empty prison becomes silent testimony that God's work can't be contained by human opposition.
