What does Acts 4:8 mean?
Peter is standing before the very authorities who had just arrested him and his friends for preaching about Jesus, and instead of being afraid or defensive, he's calm and clear. Being "filled with the Holy Spirit" here means he's empowered with courage and wisdom right in that moment of pressure, able to speak what needs to be said without backing down.
