What does Acts 4:23 mean?

After Peter and John were released by the authorities who had arrested them for healing a man and speaking about Jesus, they went straight back to the believers who were praying together. They told their friends everything the religious leaders had threatened and demanded of them, holding nothing back. This moment shows a community that wanted to know the full truth about what had happened, not a softened version. It also sets up what comes next: rather than cowering in fear, the believers prayed together and asked God for boldness to keep speaking about Jesus anyway.
