What does Acts 27:36 mean?

When a ship full of frightened people finally heard genuine hope from Paul, something shifted in them. After days of being battered by storms, they hadn't eaten because despair had stolen their appetite, but his words about God's protection rekindled their will to survive. Taking food became more than physical nourishment, it was a sign that they'd moved from giving up to trusting again. Sometimes the encouragement we need doesn't come with a dramatic miracle, but rather with someone speaking truth that helps us find strength to care for ourselves once more.
