Acts 22:18
“and saw him saying to me, ‘Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not receive testimony concerning me from you.’”
What does Acts 22:18 mean?
Paul is recounting a vision he experienced after his dramatic conversion. Jesus appears to him and warns him to leave Jerusalem fast, because the people there won't be receptive to Paul's testimony about Jesus. This captures a hard truth: sometimes our most passionate witness falls on closed hearts, and God's wisdom calls us to move on rather than keep pushing. It's a gentle reminder that sharing our faith isn't about forcing everyone to listen, but about being obedient to what God is calling us to do in each place and season.
