What does Acts 11:23 mean?
When Barnabas arrived in Antioch and witnessed believers living out their new faith in Christ, his heart was filled with joy at what God's grace was doing in their lives. Instead of criticizing or questioning them, he encouraged everyone there to stay committed to following Jesus with genuine, whole-hearted devotion, not just surface-level agreement or temporary enthusiasm. This moment shows us what encouragement really looks like: it's recognizing God's work in others and then calling them deeper into it.
