What does Acts 1:14 mean?

After Jesus ascended to heaven, his followers—about 120 people—gathered in Jerusalem and stayed together in prayer while waiting for the Holy Spirit. What's striking here is who's included: not just the apostles, but also women and Jesus's own family members, all united in the same purpose. This shows that the early church was built on people from different backgrounds and relationships to Jesus, all equally committed to seeking God together. The phrase "with one accord" emphasizes that despite their differences, they weren't divided or hesitant, but genuinely aligned in their devotion during this crucial waiting period.
