What does 2 Peter 2:5 mean?
God warned the world through Noah for years before the flood came, but people ignored him. When judgment finally fell, only Noah and his family were saved, not because they were perfect, but because Noah listened and trusted God while everyone around him continued living without concern for what God was saying. This passage reminds us that God is patient and gives warnings through faithful people, yet he also takes seriously those who persistently turn away from him. There's both comfort and weight in that reality: God preserves those who respond to his call, even when they're vastly outnumbered by those who don't.
