What does 2 Corinthians 7:11 mean?
Paul is celebrating something beautiful that happened when the Corinthians felt genuine sorrow about their mistakes. That godly sadness (the kind that leads to actual change, not just regret) stirred them to take their relationship seriously again—they cared deeply about making things right, they were eager to explain themselves and be understood, they felt appropriate concern about having disappointed Paul, and they showed real commitment to doing better.
