What does 2 Chronicles 33:12 mean?
King Manasseh had done terrible things, leading Judah away from God, and his consequence was being captured and taken into exile. But something shifted in him during that suffering. Instead of hardening his heart, he turned toward God with genuine remorse, letting go of his pride and asking for help. The verse shows us that sometimes our lowest moments can become turning points, when we finally stop fighting and actually listen. Humbling yourself isn't weakness, it's the honest recognition that you need something beyond yourself, and that recognition opens the door to real change.
