What does 2 Chronicles 25:10 mean?
King Amaziah had hired soldiers from the northern kingdom of Ephraim to help fight his battles, but then he fired them before the campaign even began. He was following advice from a prophet to trust God instead, which was actually good spiritual instinct, but he failed to handle it wisely with the people involved. Those soldiers felt humiliated and rejected, and their anger at Judah was real and serious enough that it came back to haunt him later.
