What does 1 Timothy 3:13 mean?
When we faithfully serve others, something shifts inside us. We develop a kind of spiritual confidence, a deepened trust in God's goodness that makes it easier to live out our faith openly, without shame or fear. Paul is saying that this isn't a reward God gives reluctantly, but a natural fruit of the work itself: serving well strengthens our own relationship with Christ and our sense of belonging in his community.
