What does 1 Thessalonians 4:10 mean?

The Thessalonians were already doing a beautiful thing: they were showing genuine love and care toward other believers across their region, Macedonia. Paul isn't criticizing them for falling short, but rather encouraging them to keep growing in this practice, to let their kindness and support for one another expand even more. It's the kind of gentle push a mentor gives to someone already on the right path, saying "you're doing great—now keep going." Paul recognizes that love isn't a destination we reach and stop at; it's something that deepens and spreads the more we nurture it.
