1 Samuel 10:15
“Saul’s uncle said, “Please tell me what Samuel said to you.””
What does 1 Samuel 10:15 mean?
Saul has just been anointed as king by the prophet Samuel, an enormous and life-changing moment, yet when his uncle asks what happened, Saul gives him only a partial answer. He tells him about the lost donkeys being found but stays silent about the kingship itself. It's a very human moment, showing how overwhelming and uncertain Saul feels about what's ahead, or perhaps how he's trying to process something so significant that he can't quite put it into words. Sometimes when something huge happens to us, we don't immediately know how to talk about it, or we're not ready to share it yet, and that hesitation is completely understandable.
