What does 1 Kings 18:10 mean?
Obadiah, a servant in King Ahab's household, is telling the prophet Elijah how desperately the king has searched for him across the entire region. Ahab had been hunting Elijah during a terrible drought and was so determined that he made neighboring kingdoms swear oaths that they would report Elijah's whereabouts if they found him.
