“If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.”
What does 1 John 5:16 mean?
This passage addresses what happens when we notice someone we know (our "brother" in faith) doing something wrong. John is encouraging us to pray for them when we see them stumbling, promising that God listens to those prayers and can restore the person to spiritual life.
