What does 1 John 3:11 mean?
Love for each other isn't a new idea John is introducing, he's reminding his readers of something foundational they already know. From the earliest days of following Jesus, this message has been central: we're called to genuinely care for and look out for one another. It's not optional or secondary, but core to what it means to be part of this community. When life gets messy or we're tempted to withdraw or judge others, this simple truth calls us back to what actually matters.
