What does 1 John 2:5 mean?
When we actually live out what God teaches us, something remarkable happens: his love becomes complete and mature within us. It's not enough to simply believe the right things or feel warm emotions—real faith shows itself through how we treat others and conduct our lives. This is John's way of saying that genuine connection with God isn't abstract or invisible; it becomes visible through our actions and choices, and those actions are the proof we need that we truly belong to him.
