Zephaniah 3:20
“At that time will I bring you in, and at that time will I gather you; for I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes, says Yahweh.”
What does Zephaniah 3:20 mean?
This is a promise spoken to people who felt abandoned and ashamed. After describing God's coming judgment, the prophet Zephaniah pivots to comfort: God will gather His scattered people back home and restore what was lost. The key here is that this restoration won't happen in secret or in a distant future only the faithful can imagine—it will happen "before your eyes," something you'll actually witness and experience.
