Zechariah 14:4

β€œHis feet will stand in that day on the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in two, from east to west, making a very great valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it toward the south.”

What does Zechariah 14:4 mean?

Zechariah is describing a dramatic moment when God will physically intervene in history, transforming the very landscape around Jerusalem. The splitting of the Mount of Olives into a massive valley represents how complete and unmistakable God's presence and power will be, reshaping the world itself. For people living in uncertainty or feeling like their circumstances are immovable, this image speaks to God's ability to do what seems impossible and to make a way where none exists. Whether you read this as literal prophecy about future events or as poetic language about God's ultimate restoration, the core message is the same: nothing stands against God's purposes, and creation itself bends to His will.
