What does Zechariah 11:8 mean?
This passage captures a moment of frustration and broken relationship, expressed in the language of ancient shepherd imagery. God (speaking through the prophet) removes three leaders or types of leaders in quick succession because the relationship has deteriorated on both sides, they no longer trust or respect each other.
