Titus 3:8
“This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;”
What does Titus 3:8 mean?
Paul is wrapping up practical advice to Titus about living out faith in a real community, and he wants Titus to speak these truths with confidence and authority. The "saying" he's referring to is the whole teaching about God's grace transforming us and making us new, which should naturally lead us to live generously and do good for others. Paul knew that believing in God's mercy isn't just an inner experience, it has to show up in how we treat people and contribute to the world around us.
