What does Titus 2:1 mean?
Paul is reminding Titus, a young pastor, to teach what's actually true and helpful, not whatever sounds appealing or trendy. "Sound doctrine" means teaching that's solid, reliable, and leads people toward genuine spiritual health, the way a sound building is one you can actually live in safely. This matters especially for leaders because what they teach shapes how entire communities understand faith and live their lives.
