What does Ruth 2:23 mean?
Ruth kept working steadily in Boaz's fields, staying near his other workers, until both harvests were completely finished. Rather than moving around looking for different opportunities, she committed to seeing the season through where she'd found kindness and steady work. This quiet faithfulness, combined with her choice to return home to Naomi each evening, shows how she honored both her need to provide and her responsibility to the person who depended on her. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply show up consistently and stay faithful to the people and places where we're called.
